%X Se realiz車 una revisi車n sobre los dilemas 谷ticos en el diagn車stico de la hipertensi車n arterial, as赤 como de algunos elementos en el surgimiento del concepto de bio谷tica. Se identificaron los conflictos 谷ticos que aparecen en cada etapa del diagn車stico de la hipertensi車n arterial: en el momento de suministrar la informaci車n, en el instante de la indicaci車n y realizaci車n de las pruebas diagn車sticas, en la comunicaci車n del diagn車stico y en la toma de decisiones posteriores. Se concluye que el desarrollo tecnol車gico va a introducir nuevas decisiones 谷ticas en el diagn車stico de la hipertensi車n arterial que van a involucrar cada vez m芍s los intereses de la sociedad y crear de una manera u otra conflictos 谷ticos y morales en la toma de decisiones. A review on the ethical dilemmas in the diagnosis of hypertension and some elements in the emergence of the bioethics concept was performed. Ethical conflicts that appear at each stage of diagnosis of hypertension: at the time of providing the information, at the point of indication and performance of diagnostic tests, when communicating the diagnosis and during subsequent decision making were identified. We conclude that technological development will introduce new ethical decisions in the diagnosis of hypertension that will increasingly involve the interests of society and create, in one way or another, ethical and moral conflict in the decision making process.
