%X Neste artigo ser o apresentadas informa  es sobre a lousa digital como um instrumento que proporciona a inser  o da linguagem audiovisual no contexto escolar. Para o funcionamento da lousa digital interativa ¨¦ necess¨¢rio que esteja conectada a um computador e este a um projetor multim¨ªdia, sendo que, atrav¨¦s da tecnologia Digital Vision Touch (DViT), a superf¨ªcie desse quadro torna-se sens¨ªvel ao toque. Dessa forma, utilizando-se o dedo, professores e alunos executar o fun  es que aumentam a interatividade com as atividades propostas na lousa. Ser o apresentadas duas possibilidades de atividades pedag¨®gicas, destacando as ¨¢reas do conhecimento de Ci¨ºncias e L¨ªngua Portuguesa, que poder o ser aplicadas na educa  o infantil, com alunos de cinco a seis anos. Essa tecnologia reflete a evolu  o de um tipo de linguagem que n o ¨¦ mais baseada somente na oralidade e na escrita, mas tamb¨¦m ¨¦ audiovisual e dinamica, pois permite que o sujeito al¨¦m de receptor, seja produtor de informa  es. Portanto, a escola deve aproveitar esses recursos tecnol¨®gicos que facilitam o trabalho com a linguagem audiovisual em sala de aula, permitindo a elabora  o de aulas mais significativas e inovadoras. In this paper we present some information about the digital interactive whiteboard and its use as a tool to introduce the audiovisual language in the educational environment. The digital interactive whiteboard is connected to both a computer and a multimedia projector and it uses the Digital Vision Touch (DViT), which means that the screen is touch-sensitive. By touching with their fingers, both teachers and pupils have access to functionalities that increase the interactivity with the activities worked during the class. We present two pedagogical activities to be used in Science and Portuguese classes, for five- and six-years old pupils. This new technology is the result of the evolution of a new type of communication, which is not grounded solely in the oral and written languages, but is also audiovisual and dynamic, since it allows the student to become not merely a receptor but also a producer of knowledge. Therefore, our schools should be encouraged to use these new technological devices in order to facilitate their job and to promote more interesting and revolutionary classes.
