A delay in diagnosis may result in an increased mortality and morbidity. A case of a ten month old girl with diaphragmatic rupture and gastric herniation presenting one month after a minor blunt trauma is reported in this article Diagnosis of isolated diaphragmatic rupture is difficult during the preoperative period.
