%T Dilemma About Fastidious Chronic Prostatitis: Is Radiology Able to Diagnose It?

%X Transrectal ultrasonography (TRUS) of cases with pathologically proven chronic prostatitis will be presented. There is confusion about the cause of chronic prostatitis. There is also a dilemma about the diagnosis. Sonography (TRUS) is the best modality for it. I have carried out research on patients who had TRUS and biopsy. In these cases, the pathology proved that they had contracted chronic prostatitis. I studied the sonographies and the features which will be discussed and presented."nThe second lecture is "the incidence of cancer of prostate in abnormal PSA"."nI have performed approximately 5000 prostate biopsies on 500 patients and the results will be discussed. In addition, I will mention when biopsy is indicated, age related PSA and the value of free PSA.
