%X Resumen: En este art赤culo se presentan los resultados de investigaci車n formativa realizada en la Universidad Industrial de Santander 每UIS-, Colombia. Se indaga a los j車venes de pregrado sobre la calidad de la formaci車n que reciben actualmente y su opini車n sobre aspectos de la vida universitaria y sus expectativas laborales. El estudio se realiz車 por muestreo aleatorio simple, se ponder車 seg迆n su distribuci車n por unidad acad谷mica y sexo, con una poblaci車n total de 357 estudiantes de pregrado. De los resultados se resalta el alto costo de la educaci車n, las p谷rdidas de calidad, la preocupaci車n por realizar postgrados, la buena evaluaci車n de la universidad, la exigencia de mejores condiciones materiales y la relativa tranquilidad por el porvenir. Se concluye que la inserci車n laboral es un tema que angustia al joven, pero una inserci車n tambi谷n de calidad acorde con la formaci車n individual.   Abstract: The article presents the results of research conducted at the Industrial University of Santander-UIS-Colombia, in which young people inquire about the quality of undergraduate education and who currently receive their views on aspects of university life their job prospects. The study was conducted by simple random sampling according to their distribution by academic unit and sex, with a total population of 357 undergraduate students. From these results highlight the high cost of education, loss of quality, concern for making graduate, good evaluation of the university, the demand for better material conditions and the relative tranquility for the future. We conclude that employability is an issue that the young trouble, but also as an insert in accordance with individual training.
