The reaction was carried out at room temperature and involved simple workup. The possibility of reuse of the catalyst was also investigated. The results indicated that the aromatic sulphonation procedure could be carried out under mild conditions and the recycling of the catalyst is possible thus making the whole process more eco-friendly. %K Silca sulphuric acid/ NaHSO4 %K Wet SiO2 %K Heterogeneous catalyst %K Aromatic Sulphonic acids %U http://www.eijppr.com/jan-2012/4.pdf
