%X El art赤culo est芍 centrado en el estudio de la resignificaci車n del universo festivo y del espacio p迆blico en el tr芍nsito del espacio tardocolonial a la configuraci車n del Estado nacional. Se analiza la fiesta como instrumento propagand赤stico y de difusi車n ideol車gica de la naci車n a trav谷s del ejemplo suscitado en la regi車n del Norte Chico, puntualmente en las fiestas dedicadas al Santo Patrono de Copiap車 y La Serena, adem芍s del arribo al puerto de Coquimbo y su traslado a La Serena de una imagen de Fernando VII, para compararlas con la resignificaci車n del espacio p迆blico por parte de Estado nacional, en el contexto de la jura de la independencia en la regi車n. Para el efecto, se analiza la soluci車n de continuidad en la parafernalia festiva colonial y republicana, a la par de reconocer los quiebres suscitados en el espacio p迆blico al inicio del siglo XIX, confront芍ndose con las festividades del periodo anterior debido a la necesaria representaci車n de los nuevos s赤mbolos del poder republicano para una pronta identificaci車n popular. The article focuses on the study of the universe resignification festive and public space in traffic late colonial space to the configuration of the national state. We analyze the party as an instrument of propaganda and ideological dissemination of the nation through the example raised in the Norte Chico region, specifically in the celebrations dedicated to the patron saint of Copiapo and LaSerena, in addition to the arrival at the port of Coquimbo and transfer La Serena in an image of Fernando VII, to compare with the redefinition of public space by the national state, in the context of the Declaration of Independence in the region. For this purpose, we analyze the solution of continuity in the colonial and republican party paraphernalia, few recognize the breaks caused in the public space at the beginning of the nineteenth century, confronting the festivities of the previous period due to the necessary representation new symbols ofpower for early identification Republican popular.
