The objective is to see how the contextualization cues used by the actors involved in the activity type discussion forum collaborate to learning processes. To get this objective, we used the theoretical assumptions by John Gumperz (1999) about contextualization conventions and contextualization cues, the notions of context by Duranti and Goodwin (1992), and the notion of activity type by Levinson (1992). The results indicated that the inferential process is negotiated in conversation, being built in the social relationships and in the interaction. The examples used in this study show that contextualization cues are activated in the activity type, defining the meaning through inferences. %K Context. Inference.
