%X "Los usos de Hobbes: Carl Schmitt"El autor centra su an¨¢lisis en el jurista alem¨¢n Carl Schmitt y su muy discutida interpretaci¨®n acerca del destino del Leviat¨¢n en tanto es entendido simult¨¢neamente como s¨ªmbolo y coma doctrina pol¨ªticos. Para Salazar, Schmitt se apart¨® de ciertas lecturas, de un obvio cariz moral, que hacen aparecer a Hobbes en la escena de la concepci¨®n moderna del Estado ora como un perverso defensor del absolutismo, ya como el sumo representante del iusnaturalismo de corte pol¨ªtico-formalista. En cualquier caso, Schmitt evidenciar¨¢ a Hobbes como un pensador netamente pol¨ªtico que puso de relieve la autonom¨ªa decisionista en el contexto del problema del poder soberano.¡°The uses of Hobbes: Carl Schmitt¡±The author centers his work on the German jurist Carl Schmitt and his polemical interpretation about the destiny of Leviathan, which is understood both as a political symbol and a political doctrine. The author establishes that Schmitt pushed aside certain moral-oriented readings that present Hobbes in the modern conception of the State both an a perverse defender of absolutism and also as ultimate representative of political and formal iusnuturalism. Anyway, Schmitt displays Hobbes as a basically political thinker who lays out the autonomy of decisions while observing the problem of sovereign power.
