%X Dentro de las medidas establecidas enla Directiva Marco de Aguas de la Uni車n Europea,se incorporaba la necesidad de proteger las aguassubterr芍neas contra la contaminaci車n. LaPropuesta de Directiva sobre la protecci車n de lasaguas subterr芍neas tiende a mejorar radicalmentela calidad de las aguas subterr芍neas de la Uni車nEuropea. Prev谷 la obligaci車n para los Estadosmiembros de vigilar, evaluar y cumplir determinadosobjetivos de calidad, as赤 como de invertir lastendencias en la contaminaci車n de esta agua.Abstract: Within the measures established by theDiretiva Marco de 芍guas da Uni o Europ谷ia, thenecessity of protecting the groundwaters againstcontamination was incorporated to it. TheCommition proposal for the groundwaters＊protection tends to radically improve theunderground quality of the European Union. Itprovides the Member States the obligation ofmonitoring, evaluating, and complying with certainobjectives of calamity, as well as investing in thetendencies of contamination of this water.
