%X Historical narrative as a subject has caught widespread attention lately. Several contemporary theoretical trends make their best in order to supply an original contribution. Here, the intention has been to present the position of Paul Ricoueur within historical narrative controversy, as the heir of phenomenological thought, by drawing up the theoretical fronts where his efforts were joined. O tema da narrativa hist車ria tem recebido muita aten  o ultimamente. V芍rias correntes te車ricas contemporaneas se defrontam a fim de fornecer sua contribui  o ao aprofundamento do tema. Aqui, procura-se apresentar o posicionamento de Paul Ricoeur, no debate da narrativa hist車rica, como herdeiro do pensamento fenomenol車gico, e, com isso, identificar as v芍rias frentes te車ricas nas quais concentram-se seus esfor os.
