%X This essay is about Elisabeth Mulder (Barcelona 1904-1987) works. We can settle her works mainly between 30¡¯s and 50¡¯s. This essay is structured in three main parts. 1) ¡° the lyrical prehistory of Elisabeth Mulder¡± (¡°prehistory¡± and ¡°history¡± are concepts used by Consuelo Berges referring to two different periods in the works of Elisabeth Mulder), analyses the evolution of her lyrical works between 1927 and 1933; an evolution from the poetry of symbolism and ¡±malditismo¡± to the poetry of the serenity of the Novecentism. 2): ¡°The narrative history of Elisabeth Mulder¡± offers us the chronological study of her narrative works, as well as the study of the main formal and topical characteristics of her narrative works, going beyond the clich¨¦s settled by the critics about Mulder¡¯s cosmopolitan, and elegant novel, a novel that was so different from the Spanish postwar- novel. This essay offers us three interesting elements in Mulder¡¯s narrative works: her concept about identity, her concept about love and the utilization of humour as an element to break literary clich¨¦s. 3) ¡°A writer between Modernism and Modern Times¡± analyses the combination of elements that come from the Modernism and the ones that come from the Avant-Garde in the narrative works of Elisabeth Mulder. El presente art¨ªculo estudia la obra de Elisabeth Mulder (1904-1987) escritora barcelonesa que desarroll¨® su obra principalmente entre los a os 30 y 50. Est¨¢ estructurado en tres partes. 1) ¡°La prehistoria l¨ªrica¡± de Elisabeth Mulder (¡°prehistoria e historia son t¨¦rminos que proceden de Consuelo Berges para referirse a dos per¨ªodos distintos de la producci¨®n de Elisabeth Mulder) estudia la evoluci¨®n de su poes¨ªa entre 1927 y 1933, desde el simbolismo y el ¡°malditismo¡± hasta la serenidad novecentista. 2)¡°La historia narrativa de Elisabeth Mulder¡±intercala el estudio cronol¨®gico con el establecimiento de las l¨ªneas principales tem¨¢ticas y formales de su narrativa, yendo m¨¢s all¨¢ de los t¨®picos forjados por la cr¨ªtica acerca del cosmopolitismo y elegancia de su novela, alejada de las caracter¨ªsticas de la narrativa de la postguerra espa ola. Se ala como elementos interesantes, su concepci¨®n de la identidad, su concepci¨®n del amor y la utilizaci¨®n del humor como elemento destopificador. 3) ¡°Una escritora entre el Modernismo y la Modernidad¡± establece finalmente las caracter¨ªsticas de Elisabeth Mulder como las de una escritora entre ciertos elementos del modernismo y ciertos elementos de la vanguardia.
