%X The raising of a thought in Spanish, in critical terms, stumbles over the historical experience of the engagement of this language with the cultural and political project of exclusion and imperial expansion meant around 1492, as well as with the authoritarian inertias generated from then. So the relevancy of exiles in the Hispanic world, as hermeneutic fundamental key of a critical thought that answers not only opposite to those inertias, but also opposite to the alienating eurocentrismo. Special mention deserves the Spanish exile of 39, in view of his Spanish American meaning, tied in addition to the radical crisis that at the time crosses the European civilization. Works as those of Jose Gaos, Eduardo Nicol or Joaqu¨ªn Xirau, among others, raised answers in this respect. El planteamiento de un pensamiento en espa ol, en t¨¦rminos cr¨ªticos, tropieza con la experiencia hist¨®rica del compromiso de dicha lengua con el proyecto cultural y pol¨ªtico de exclusi¨®n y expansi¨®n imperial significado en torno a 1492, as¨ª como con las inercias autoritarias generadas a partir de entonces. De ah¨ª la relevancia del exilio en el mundo hisp¨¢nico, como clave hermen¨¦utica fundamental de un pensamiento cr¨ªtico que responde no s¨®lo ante dichas inercias, sino tambi¨¦n ante el eurocentrismo enajenante. Menci¨®n especial merece el exilio espa ol del 39, dada su significaci¨®n iberoamericana, ligada adem¨¢s a la crisis radical por la que entonces atraviesa la civilizaci¨®n europea. Obras como las de Jos¨¦ Gaos, Eduardo Nicol o Joaqu¨ªn Xirau, entre otros, plantearon respuestas en este sentido.
