%X This article aims to show how the journal El Artista was used by the editors to popularise not only the principles of the new literary movement according to their precepts, but also to influence the formats in which the content could be most effectively published by the young Romantic writers of the era. El prop¨®sito de este art¨ªculo radica en mostrar c¨®mo a trav¨¦s de las p¨¢ginas de El Artista se difundieron tanto los principios del nuevo movimiento, seg¨²n el parecer de los miembros de su redacci¨®n, como los formatos en que tales contenidos pod¨ªan divulgarse de manera m¨¢s efectiva entre los j¨®venes rom¨¢nticos.
