This article engages in an analysis of the social and commercial relations exhibited in the geographical area of the Abacer¨ªa Central Market, in the neighborhood of Gr¨¤cia (Barcelona): a neighborhood that, over the last two decades, has seen a significant rise in the number of residents arriving from other countries (primarily Latin America, Africa and Eastern Europe). The Abacer¨ªa Central Market and the synergy created among the different market stalls and businesses in the market¡¯s immediate vicinity (whether these are ethnic or not) define a material and social space in the neighborhood that is key for understanding the social relations that are established at the local level. %K food %K market %K immigration %K social interaction %K Barcelona %K Gr¨¤cia %K alimentation %K march¨¦ %K immigration %K interaction sociale %K Gracia %K Barcelone %U http://aof.revues.org/6595
