All previously known congeners are considered to represent one species: A. montanus Verhoeff, 1939 (the type species), including A. reesi (Wang, 1957) and A. maculatus Takakuwa, 1942, syn. n. Two further species are described as new: A. similis sp. n. and A. latilobatus sp. n. The genus is re-diagnosed, all of its three species are keyed, and their distributions mapped. %K Millipede %K Aponedyopus %K taxonomy %K new species %K distribution %K key %K Taiwan %U http://www.pensoft.net/journals/zookeys/article/743/
