Thus, this article is characterized as aexploratory research and maintains analytical character, temporal, of update, andbibliographic. After the presentation of the four approaches, a comparison is made betweenthem, indicating the central features, strengths and perceived limitations. The paper reports aconcern in adapting the concepts of EVM to the characteristics of agile software projects, soenjoy the benefits of the technique.
