The ambiguity that surrounds their interpretation has resulted to a vivid dialogue around their legal nature, and their use in contemporary judicial practice of domestic and international tribunals. Globalization and the everİ\increasing complexity of International Economics affected the position of General Principles within the international legal system, and resulted to their progressive consolidation in the area of International Economic Law.
