%X ResumenLa principal fuente de infecci車n de Trichinella spiralis para el hombre es el cerdo. Es importante mencionar la dificultad y baja incidencia de detecci車n de la enfermedad, el ineficiente control sanitario en la canal del cerdo contaminado y la pr芍ctica frecuente de matanza clandestina en animales de traspatio.AbstractThe main source of infection of Trichinella spiralis for the man is the pig. It`s important to mention the difficulty and the low incidence of detection of the illness, the control of inefficient sanitary in the canal of the contaminated pig and the frequenty practice of the clandestine killing in backyard animals.
