%X Pegylated interferon and ribavirin is the treatment of choice in patients with chronic hepatitis C infection. The most common side effects of interferon therapy are flu-like symptoms and psychiatric disorders. Pneumonitis is a less frequent complication associated with non-negligible mortality. We herein report a case of interferon associated pneumonitis in a patient with non-severe clinical symptoms and a normal chest radiography. Physicians should be aware of this entity during the differential diagnosis of respiratory symptoms in patients receiving treatment with interferon due to its high morbimortality and good resolution and outcome after drug withdrawal. El interfer車n pegilado asociado a ribavirina es el tratamiento de elecci車n en los pacientes con infecci車n por hepatitis C cr車nica. Los efectos secundarios m芍s comunes son los s赤ntomas gripales y las alteraciones psiqui芍tricas. La neumonitis es una complicaci車n poco frecuente, pero se asocia con una mortalidad no despreciable. Presentamos el caso cl赤nico de un paciente con neumonitis intersticial asociada a interfer車n que presentaba signos y s赤ntomas cl赤nicos sutiles y una radiograf赤a de t車rax sin alteraciones. Se debe de tener presente esta entidad en el diagn車stico diferencial de los s赤ntomas respiratorios en pacientes que reciben tratamiento con interfer車n debido a su elevada morbi-mortalidad y a su evoluci車n favorable tras la retirada del f芍rmaco.
