%X This paper is related to the topic developed in my RH.D. thesis. A new model is proposed to describe the non-linear behaviour of straight pin-jointed compression members. Sucti a method Is based upon obtaining the complete constitutive equations in the case of circular hollow sections. The stability functions of imperfect bars and the analytical formulation of the post-buckiing behaviour are obtained by taking the exact expression of the curvature in the integratlon of the differential equation of the elastic. The linearization of the constitutive relationships and the application of an incremental iterative model based upon the modification of the elasticity of the bars at critical point allows us to consider the non-linear analysis of the double layer space grids. The models of analysis proposed here have been applied to a wide variety of trusses with different characteristics and typologies, some examples of which accompany this paper. Este art赤culo corresponde al tema de investigaci車n desarrollado en mi tesis doctoral. Se plantea un nuevo modelo para describir el comportamiento no lineal de piezas rectas biarticuladas sometidas a compresi車n, basado en la obtenci車n de las ecuaciones constitutivas en el caso de los perfiles tubulares huecos de secci車n circular. Se obtienen las funciones de estabilidad de barras imperfectas y la formulaci車n anal赤tica del comportamiento postpandeo tomando la expresi車n exacta de la curvatura en la integraci車n de la ecuaci車n diferencial de la el芍stica. La linearizaci車n de las leyes constitutivas y la aplicaci車n de un modelo incremental Iterativo basado en la modificaci車n del m車dulo de elasticidad de las barras en estado cr赤tico permite abordar el an芍lisis no lineal de las mallas espaciales de doble capa. Los modelos de an芍lisis propuestos se aplicaron a una amplia variedad de mallas de diversas tipolog赤as y caracter赤sticas de las que se acompa an algunos ejemplos en el art赤culo.
