%X The article presents the results of a research on the situation of continuous training in Spain. The study focus on analysing the situation of this area of training, identifying the opinions of the agents involved, and see the challenges that training has to face in the near future. The method used are the interviews to key agents of continuous training. The results show that, although during the last decade training has improved notoriously 每both from a quantity and from a quality point of view- there is still a lot to do, specially in the case of small companies and of workers with a low training level. El art赤culo presenta los resultados de un estudio que pretende analizar la formaci車n continua en Espa a. El estudio describe la situaci車n en que se halla este subsistema de formaci車n, analiza como lo valoran los agentes implicados y apunta los retos de futuro que debe afrontar para ser una estrategia efectiva en el mantenimiento del empleo y la mejora de su calidad. La metodolog赤a utilizada es eminentemente cualitativa, centrada en la realizaci車n de entrevistas a los agentes clave de la formaci車n continua. Los resultados muestran que, a pesar de que en la 迆ltima d谷cada la formaci車n continua ha mejorado notablemente tanto a nivel de cantidad como de calidad, aun queda mucho camino por recorrer, sobre todo en el caso de las empresas peque as y de los colectivos laborales con menos formaci車n.
