%X A partir de una idea de la adaptaci¨®n cinematogr¨¢fica como resultado de un trabajo de lectura, interpretaci¨®n y comprensi¨®n de un texto literario, el presente art¨ªculo estudia la relaci¨®n que se establece entre el libro de cuentos  Qu¨¦ me quieres, amor?, del escritor espa ol Manuel Rivas, y la pel¨ªcula titulada La lengua de las mariposas, dirigida por Jos¨¦ Luis Cuerda. La integraci¨®n, en una sola lectura, de tres cuentos del libro de Rivas, as¨ª como las citas, referencias y aclaraciones introducidas en la pel¨ªcula por Jos¨¦ Luis Cuerda y por el guionista Rafael Azcona, dan cuenta de un di¨¢logo que Manuel Rivas ha comparado con una transmigraci¨®n, y que nos habla de cierta manera de interpretar la historia reciente de Espa a. This article -based on the premise that a film adaptation is the result of the reading, interpreting and understanding of a literary text- is a study of the relationship between the short story entitled  Qu¨¦ me quieres amor?, by Spanish writer Manuel Rivas, and the film, La lengua de las mariposas, directed by Jos¨¦ Luis Cuerda. Thus, the integration of three short stories by Rivas, the quotations, the references and the clarifications introduced in the movie by Jos¨¦ Luis Cuerda, and the script writer, Rafael Azcona, into one reading, present a dialogue -compared by Manuel Rivas with a transmigration- which speaks of a certain way of interpreting Spain¡äs recent history.
