%X Serum zinc, copper, magnesium, proteins and superoxide dismutase (SOD) were studied in 40 cases of acne. Serum zinc, magnesium and albumin were found to be significantly decreased whereas serum copper and globulin were significantly increased. There were no significant alterations in the serum total proteins and SOD in the above cases.
