%X This work aims to point out research possibilities around the constitution of a newspaper clip file at Centro Universit芍rio Feevale, organized and cataloged by the institution itself, with news articles from 1969 to 1994 on educa  o, nationwide repercussions and the trajectory of the college. From the organization, selection and analysis of the corpus, which contributes to the institutional memory, one works with the perspective that the development of the institution itself was accompanied by an expectative and an enthusiastic vision of things by local press, which built the image of a university of the future, responding to communitarian demands for higher education. O presente trabalho objetiva destacar possibilidades de pesquisa a partir da constitui  o de um acervo de clipagem jornal赤stica do Centro Universit芍rio Feevale, organizado e catalogado em projeto da Institui  o, compreendendo mat谷rias entre os anos de 1969 e 1994 sobre Educa  o, repercuss es nacionais e a trajet車ria do estabelecimento de ensino. A partir da organiza  o, sele  o e an芍lise do acervo, que contribui para a constru  o de uma mem車ria institucional, trabalha-se com a perspectiva de que o desenvolvimento da pr車pria Institui  o foi acompanhado de uma expectativa e de uma vis o entusiasta da imprensa local, que construiu a imagem de uma "universidade do futuro", que traria o Ensino Superior para Novo Hamburgo/RS, respondendo, assim, aos anseios da comunidade.
