%X Orthoses play an important role in the treatment of spinal cord injury in children. Most children with spinal injury need the help of orthoses to stand and walk because of the their lower limb paralysis. Knowledge of specific indications, effectiveness, possible complications of orthotic use and treatment goals is essential for appropriate decision making.
