Ngaopitakkul %J Advances in Mathematical and Computational Methods %D 2011 %I %R 10.5729 %X This paper presents behavior of simultaneous fault signals in underground distributionsystem using discrete wavelet transform (DWT). The fault signal is simulated using ATP/EMTP, andthe analysis behavior of characteristics signals is performed using Discrete Wavelet Transform(DWT). Coefficients of positive sequence current signals are calculated. The positive sequencecurrent as extracted to several scales with the wavelet transform, and the coefficients of the first scalefrom the Wavelet transformer was investigated. Various case studies have been carried out includingthe single fault and simultaneous fault.
