%X With the rapid growth of China's national economy, transportation plays an importantrole for economic and social sustainable development; therefore, the processing speed of trafficaccidents became the bottleneck to improve transportation efficiency. The traditional waveletmethods are inefficiency in edge detection because their orientations are not strong. The paperintroduced an improved non-tensor product wavelet transform algorithm, and it also proposed amethod which was ˇ°comparing with threshold after normalized ".The algorithm in handling trafficaccident images showed the faster speed, and better extraction accuracy.
