Data of children with similar ages in both studies were included the analysis. Comparisons were performed between 401 students and 243 child workers between 15-17.9 years old. Some anthropometric indices such as Z scores of height for age, weight for age and body mass index (BMI) were used to compare the working children and the students. Results: In comparison of both height and weight scores, any difference was not found between the two groups aged 15-years. However both indices were lower at 16-17 years old working children than the same aged students (p<0.05). On the other hand, BMI Z scores were not significantly different between the two groups. Conclusions: In conclusion, both height and weight of working children were effected negatively especially in older ages. Working children are shorter and more underweight comparing with the non-working peers. But BMI indice, frequently commended to use for adolescents, couldn¡¯t reveal the negative response of working children.
