%0 Journal Article %T PEMANFAATAN PELAYANAN KESEHATAN OLEH IBU HAMIL DI INDONESIA BERDASARKAN SKIA SURKESNAS 2001 %A Supraptini Supraptini %A Dina Bisara %J Media of Health Research and Development %D 2012 %I Badan Penelitian dan Pengembangan Kesehatan %X The 2001 Maternal and Child Health Study (SKIA) is a part of the 2001 National House Health Survey (NHHS) which was carried out by the National Institute of Health Research and Development, Ministry of Health. The National Socio Economic Survey (NHHS) 2001 is the sixth survey of its kind. The sample of the study is sub sample of the National Socio Economic Survey (NHHS) 2001. The study covered 26 provinces in Indonesia, excluding Aceh, Maluku and Papua province. The 2001 Maternal and Child Health Study is a national representative study of children under five and reproductive age women. A total of 25,072 households, 21,516 reproductive age women (15-49) were interviewed One of the major contribution of the study is the health for all reproductive age women, especially utilization of health services for antenatal care, informations about assistance at delivery and place of birth were also collected. The study found that there was a slight decrease of Antenatal Care and Tetanus Toxoid immunization for pregnant woman according to data HHS'92, HHS'95, and NHHS 2001.The study also found that only 53 % of childbirth were assisted by health personnel and still 43 % assisted by traditional birth attendance. The situation become worse because mostly the delivery especially in the rural areas and Eastern Part of Indonesia occurred at either the mother 's home or someone else's home.
