%0 Journal Article %T A SIYASATNAMA TRANSLATION PRESENTED TO SULTAN ABDULAZIZ: ¡°RIS LE-I SECIYYE¡± BY KAVALALI HUSEYIN K ZIM %A Bahir SEL£¿UK %A Fatih EL£¿£¿ %J Ad£¿yaman University International Journal of Social Science %D 2013 %I Ad?yaman University %X Persian Ahlaku¡¯s-Saltana, believed to be written by the Persian historian Vassaf, presented to the Ilkhanid ruler Muhammad Hudabende, was translated into Turkish in different periods. One of these translations belongs to Kavalal H¨¹seyin Kaz m. H¨¹seyin Kaz m made an authentic translation of some parts of Ahlaku¡¯s-saltana, adding a long introduction. It was presented to Sultan Abd¨¹laziz (1861-1876) with the title Risale-i Seciyye. The single copy of Risale-i Seciyye, which we have discovered so far, is located in Turkish Manuscripts of Topkapi Palace Museum, Mehmed Re ad Library, no: 925. Consisting of 32 leaves, the work was written in talik script. In this study, Risale-i Seciyye is transcribed; its language, stylistic features and content are discussed.
