A critical problem in Ad-Hoc networks is finding an efficient andcorrect route between a source and a destination. The need for scalable and efficientprotocols, along with the recent availability of small, inexpensive low-power positioninginstruments justify adopting position-based routing protocols in mobile Ad-Hoc networks. This paper presents an overview of the existing Ad-Hoc routing protocols that makeforwarding decisions based on the geographical position of a packet's destination. We alsooutline the main problems for this class of routing protocols. We conclude our findings bydiscussing opportunities for future research. %K position-based routing %K location-aware routing %K ad-hoc networks %K wireless networks %K routing protocols %U http://uni-obuda.hu/journal/Kiah_Qabajeh_Qabajeh_26.pdf
