%X Se realiz車 un estudio sobre calidad de vida en pacientes con ti a pedis. Se aplic車 un cuestionario espec赤fico creado al efecto. El instrumento se fundamenta en medir el grado de afectaci車n seg迆n las dimensiones de la Organizaci車n Mundial de la Salud que incluye la salud f赤sica, funcional, psicol車gica y la dimensi車n social, as赤 como los aspectos que miden la escala de satisfacci車n (vida en general, necesidades materiales, vida laboral, vida personal, vida de pareja y vida sexual). Se relacion車 el grado de afectaci車n de la calidad de vida con cada una de las variables que se asocian con los datos personales del cuestionario. Las conclusiones mostraron que la ti a pedis no afect車 la calidad de vida en el 97,6 % de los pacientes, seg迆n las dimensiones de la Organizaci車n Mundial de la Salud. Solo se present車 en cifras estad赤sticamente significativas afectaci車n en las escalas de satisfacci車n en relaci車n con la vida laboral y la vida en general. A study was made on the quality of life of patients with tinea pedis for which a specific questionnaire was designed. This instrument measured the level of impact of this disease according to the dimensions of the World Health Organization that include physical, functional and psychological health and the social dimension, as well as the aspects measuring life satisfaction (general life, material requirements, working life, personal life, life in couple and sexual life). The level of impact on the quality of life was compared in each of the variables associated with the personal data from the questionnaire. The conclusions of the study showed that tinea pedis did not affect the quality of life of 97,6 % of patients, according to the World Health Organization dimensions. Statistically significant figures were found in the impact of this disease on life satisfaction scales with respect to working life and daily life.
