%X Resumen: En el presente art赤culo tratamos de abordar las transiciones de la d谷cada de los a os setenta en el 芍mbito mediterr芍neo, en concreto en los pa赤ses de Portugal, Grecia y Espa a. Estos tres modelos de transici車n pol赤tica ofrecen paralelismos, influencias, pero tambi谷n claros antagonismos derivados de la propia situaci車n pol赤tica durante la dictadura previa, as赤 como su situaci車n econ車mica, social＃ Este hecho se va a analizar desde el prisma de la historia, aunque teniendo en cuenta las aportaciones previas de soci車logos y polit車logos. Es necesario estudiar el r谷gimen anterior, los cambios estructurales, el papel de la sociedad civil y su influencia en la toma de decisiones junto con los pol赤ticos que dirigieron el cambio, adem芍s de entender la propia marcha del proceso pol赤tico.Palabras clave: Democracia, transici車n, dictadura, revoluci車n, reforma, apertura.___________________________Abstract:In this article I endeavour to analyse the transitions within the decade of the 1970s in the Mediterranean area, above all, those in Portugal, Greece and Spain. These three models of political transition present a series of parallelisms and mutual influences, but also clear antagonisms derived from their own political situations during their previous dictatorships, as well as from their economic and social situations＃ This fact is going to be analyzed from the prism of the history, thoug having in it counts the previous contributions of sociologists and political scientists. It is necessary to study the previous regime, the structural changes, the paper of the civil society, his influence in the capture of decisions together with the politicians who directed the change beside to understanding the own march of the political process.KeyWords: Democracy, transition, dictatorship, revolution, reform, opening.
