%X The structure of the title compound, C10H11Cl2NO, resembles those of 2,2-dichloro-N-phenylacetamide, 2,2-dichloro-N-(2-methylphenyl)acetamide, 2,2-dichloro-N-(3-methylphenyl)acetamide, 2,2-dichloro-N-(4-methylphenyl)acetamide, N-(3,5-dimethylphenyl)acetamide and other acetanilides, with similar bond parameters. The molecules in the title compound are linked into infinite chains through N¡ªH...O and C¡ªH...O hydrogen bonding.
