The aim of the study was to present the clinical procedures and 36 months follow-up for treatment of fractured maxillary central incisor. The fracture was restricted to enamel and dentin tissues, without root fracture or pulpal exposure. In this case, a simple reattachment technique was performed using a total etch adhesive systems without additional preparation. A resin composite was used to fill the discontinuity between the fragment and the dental remnant in palatal side. The clinical procedure can be considered safe and simple; therefore the less time in chair is required, which reduces the cost of the treatment. Examination 36 months after treatment revealed good esthetics, normal function and no signsor symptoms of pulpal inflammation or necrosis. The reattachment of fragment in fractured tooth is conservative technique that can reestablish the original esthetic appearance of the tooth. Thistechnique is fast and efficient, providing satisfactory results in long term. Considering that, the fragment reattachment should be the first choice for treatment of uncomplicated anterior crown fractures if the tooth is not luxated and the fragment is available and properly stored. %K dental bonding %K tooth fractures %K treatment protocols %K dentin bonding agent %K follow up studies %U http://poralsciences.up.edu.br/arquivos/poralsciences/File/Perspect%20Oral%20Sci%202009_1(2)%20-%2037-42.pdf
