%X RESUMENEl presente art¨ªculo aborda los resultados obtenidos a partir de la utilizaci¨®n de una planilla de observaci¨®n de clases endos casos paradigm¨¢ticos: una c¨¢tedra de Ciencias Humanas y otra de Ciencias Exactas. El instrumento permiti¨® registrar, apartir de las verbalizaciones p¨²blicas emitidas y los recursos did¨¢cticos utilizados, el estilo docente de los profesoresobservados (Jefe de C¨¢tedra y Auxiliar, en cada caso). El an¨¢lisis de los datos se hizo en dos direcciones: relacionando elestilo docente con los tipos de clases (te¨®ricas y pr¨¢cticas) y las disciplinas que ense an (Ciencias Humanas o Exactas). Losresultados muestran que existen diferencias en el estilo docente seg¨²n el tipo de clase y seg¨²n la disciplina ense ada. Lasprimeras tienen que ver con clases m¨¢s magistrales o participativas, seg¨²n que las clases sean te¨®ricas o pr¨¢cticas; lassegundas conciernen al car¨¢cter m¨¢s discursivo de la ense anza de asignatura human¨ªstica y, m¨¢s ligada a im¨¢genes, en elcaso de epistemes exactas.ABSTRACTThis paper shows the results obtained from a class observation instrument in two different cases: One in a HumanScience class and the other in an Exact Science class. The tool registered, from the oral verbal expressions and the learningresources used as well, the teaching styles of the professors observed (chief of class and auxiliary in each case). The dataanalysis was done in two ways: by relating the teaching style to the types of classes (theoretical and practical) and thesubjects taught (Human Sciences or Exact Sciences). Results show differences between the teaching style according to thetype of class and according to the subject taught. The first ones deal with classical lectures or based on students activitieseither theoretical or practical; the other ones are concerned to the discursive teaching of the Humanistic subject and closerto images, as in the case of exact epistemes.
