%0 Journal Article %T Dilma and Mexico: the ups and downs of a crucial relation for Latin America %A Juan Pablo Soriano %J Revista CIDOB d'Afers Internacionals %D 2012 %I CIDOB %X Brazil and Mexico are not giving each other the cold shoulder, though given the slowdown and uncertainty of the international economic scenario, their relationship is moving forward in too cautious a manner. At the end of Dilma Rousseff¡¯s first year as president, it has been demonstrated that it is possible to get over the mistrust that still exists between the two governments. Brazil and Mexico have different projects for their international placement, but they are compatible.
