%X In the structure of the title compound, C21H30BrNOS, an important intermediate for the preparation of liquid crystal compounds, the saturated C12 chain shows a linear conformation while the benzene and thiazole rings are essentially coplanar [dihedral angle = 4.5 (4)กใ]. The crystal packing shows no significant intermolecular interactions.
