It was obtained by the condensation of 4-methoxybenzaldehyde with 4-chlorobenzohydrazide. In the CMB molecule, the dihedral angle between the two benzene rings is 50.1 (3)¡ã. The methanol molecule is linked to the CMB molecule through O¡ªH...O and O¡ªH...N hydrogen bonds. In the crystal, CMB molecules are linked through intermolecular N¡ªH...O hydrogen bonds, involving the methanol molecule, forming chains propagating along [010]. %U http://scripts.iucr.org/cgi-bin/paper?S1600536810038857
