%X La publicaci車n de una revista cient赤fica es un proceso acad谷mico y administrativo tan laborioso como complejo donde intervienen m迆ltiples actores y factores. Se realiza una caracterizaci車n general de las funciones que desarrollan cada uno de ellos y se destaca la importancia de los 芍rbitros para asegurar la calidad de sus contenidos. La profesionalidad, rigurosidad y dedicaci車n de los distintos componentes del equipo editorial en el cumplimiento de las tareas asignadas es la piedra angular de la existencia pr車spera y el progreso de una revista cient赤fica. The publication of scientific journals is a laborious and complex academic and administrative process where multiple actors and factors take part. A general characterization of the functions developed by each of them is made and the importance of the arbiters to guarantee the quality of their contents is stressed. The professionalism, rigorousness, and dedication of the different members of the editorial team in the fulfillment of the assigned tasks is the milestone of the prosperous existence and the progress of a scientific journal.
