The decline is likely to have a negative impact on the economic development of Australia in the future since scientific and technological knowledge will bevital for its development. As a result, this issue has raised concern among the stakeholders. Options on how interest in science subjects can be improved among the students are being vetted. Introduction of digital games in the curriculum is seen as major step towards makingscience an interesting subject among the students.
