Scapheremaeus hungarorum Mahunka, 1986 described originally from Tanzania is reported firsttime from this country. The three species discussed belong to three different families of Oribatida: Microzetidae, Tegoribatidaeand Cymbaeremaeidae, respectively. Some notes on the relationships of the new species and redescription of S. hungarorum arealso given.
