%X Compare with traditional Fuzzy sets,Vague sets is more natural and more directly perceived through the senses on characterizing feature of things.So we introduced it into image retrieval system.A model called IRUV(Image Retrieval Using Vague) and the relevant feedback algorithm for image retrieval based on Vague sets,are designed and implemented.The experimental results indicate that this model and algorithm are efficient in characterizing image feature and can provide (satisfac-)(tory) image retrieval performance.
