All five studied populations belong to the same species: B. hansboetersi Gl er et Pe i , 2006, which is morphologically and molecularly distinct from B. austriaca earlier reported from Bulgaria. NCA analysis for the COI data revealed a pattern of restricted gene flow with isolation by distance. %K freshwater snails %K Bythinella %K Bulgaria %K morphology %K DNA %K phylogeography %U http://versita.metapress.com/content/g0k148283628pq61/?p=6a3d99516e1e4adcbd15c8ee7754a753&pi=1
