%X this article presents the development of an integrated system of hardware and software, whose objective is to serve as a platform for developing and executing new power system protection algorithms on a real-time environment. the proposed system aims to reduce development time of new protection functions, enabling real-time analysis in opposition of only computer simulations, as can be typically found in technical literature. in this work, generator protection functions were implemented and tested, and the results were compared with a commercial relay, showing the feasibility and dependability of the proposed system.
