This paper introduces a novel tool¡ªthe Framework for Extensible Application Testing (FEAT), implemented by the author and applicable for automatic generation and execution of test cases. The paper discusses system requirements, design, architecture and modes of operation. It also contains a detailed comparison of the FEAT framework with existing test environments, focusing in particular on the STAF/STAX framework. The final section is devoted to experimental research into the applicability and efficiency of the presented tools in various projects and configurations, as reflected by quality metrics. %K Software Testing %K Quality Assurance %K Testing Automation %K Framework for Extensible Application Testing (FEAT) %U http://www.scirp.org/journal/PaperInformation.aspx?PaperID=19442
