%X the "magellanstrait" was the most far and inhospitable place of the new world, during the spanish colonization process. in this paper i study a corpus wrote by those who participated or commanded three expeditions: fernando de magallanes (1519), juan de ladrillero (1557) and pedro sarmiento de gamboa (1579 and 1581).
