%X this paper reviews the main factors affecting the use of greenhouses in agricultural experimentation. the effects of water quality, air temperature and solar irradiance are discussed along with size, placement and color of pots/recipients and use of water in irrigation. green screen should be avoided in greenhouses as they reflect the green light while absorbing the photosynthetically active red light. all the pots/recipients must be of the same color and size.
