%0 Journal Article %T Regenera£¿£¿o de cianetos pelo processo ARV associado ao emprego de resinas polim¨¦ricas de troca i£¿nica %A Silva %A Adriana Lara da %A Costa %A Rodrigo Alves %A Martins %A Afonso Henriques %J Rem: Revista Escola de Minas %D 2002 %I Escola de Minas %R 10.1590/S0370-44672002000200008 %X this work presents the bench scale experimental results for the cyanide regeneration from pure alkaline aqueous solutions of gold, cooper and iron cyanocomplexes using the avr process associated to the ion exchange polymeric resins imac hp555s¨° ((room&haas-usa) and amberlite ira-420¨° (room&haas brasil ltda.). the resin imac hp555s¨° adsorved 64.5% cn, 87.4% au, 64.9% cu and 60.5% fe from the alkaline solution containing metal cyanocomplexes. meanwhile, the elution stage with h2so4 and thiourea reached 31.2% cn, 86.2% au, 86.4% cu e 41.5% fe. the resin ira-420¨° adsorbed 53.4% cn, 86.3% au, 83.8% cu and 86.0% fe under the same experimental conditions adopted for the resin imac hp555s¨°. the resin amberlite ira-420¨° eluted 48% cn, 96.8% au, 9.1% cu and 76% fe. %K cyanide %K regeneration %K hydrometallurgy. %U http://www.scielo.br/scielo.php?script=sci_abstract&pid=S0370-44672002000200008&lng=en&nrm=iso&tlng=en
